In a new short documentary, Keith Kelly explores what it means to be a working musician in New York. The mini-documentary moves between the groups practice space and a packed release show at Queens venue Trans-Pecos from December 2019, which Ears to Feed promoted.
Artist Keith Kelly has remained a prolific musician throughout his career as the frontman of Monogold, a New York City psych-pop outfit. In 2019, Kelly formed a new project, Jelly Kelly, which takes a likening in the vein of early Talking Heads. This Kelly-centered project culminated in the debut album Fresh Paint, which released in December 2019.
In the months following lockdown, Kelly released the b-sides album O Earth You Mean The World To Me and 100% of all proceeds were donated to Black Lives Matter.
