Tom Scharpling is best known as the host of the long-running and groundbreaking call in radio show The Best Show, which has produced countless moments of comedic greatness over the past 21 years with his comedy partner, Jon Wurster — who also plays drums in Superchunk, The Mountain Goats and Bob Mould.
Over the years, Scharpling has also left his mark on comedy as a prolific TV writer through his work on shows like Monk, Difficult People, Divorce, What We Do In the Shadows, and most recently Kevin Can F Himself .
For younger audiences, his voice may be recognizable from his work as Greg Universe on the Cartoon Network animated series Steven Universe.
