Austin’s Space Tan share their sorrowful western inspired ballad, “All I See” from their upcoming debut Inti Raymi – out April 30th.
The quartet are newcomers to the Austin music scene releasing a handful of singles ahead of their debut tape on ATH Records. The band creates melodic pop songs with an air of vintage production values and heart on your sleeve lyricism.
On their latest single, “All I See,” frontman Gianni Sarmiento leads the group on a downhearted trail through the western landscape. “Then my mind checks out, dead without a doubt, overwhelmed by all the little stuff,” croons Sarmiento in a high tone as Keyboardist Savanah Shank lays down the sentimental foundation of the track.
A buildup of synths, acoustic guitar and off-kilter drum patterns bursts into a swirling climax featuring harmonies from Sarmiento, Shank and Guitarist Ray Garza.
Space Tan illustrates the weight on our minds and the hope that one day we’ll be able to break free from this pressure.
